Accessibility Statement
Last updated
Ishimbayev Law Firm, P.C. wants every visitor to be able to use this website: to read about the firm's services, to learn about the attorneys, to reach the office and to send an inquiry. This statement describes what we do to keep the site accessible, what we know still needs work, and how to tell us about a barrier you run into.
Our approach
The website is built to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. In practice that means the site uses semantic HTML with one main heading per page and a logical heading order, text with sufficient contrast against its background, text that can be enlarged in the browser without losing content or function, images with meaningful alternative text, links and buttons that describe their purpose, keyboard access to every control including the menu, the chat and the forms, visible keyboard focus, and reduced animation for visitors who have asked their device for less motion.
The forms on this site are labelled, mark required fields, explain errors in text and never rely on colour alone. The menu opens from the bottom-right action bar, closes with the Escape key and returns focus to the button that opened it. The chat panel can be closed with its own button at any time.
What we know still needs work
Some articles in the Insights & News section were written before this site was rebuilt and may include images without descriptive alternative text, or tables that are difficult to read on a small screen. We review these pages as they are updated. Documents offered for download, such as PDF guides, may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers; if you need the content of a document in another format, we will provide it on request.
The online booking calendar and the chat are provided by third parties. We choose providers that state their own accessibility commitments, but we do not control their interfaces. If either is difficult for you to use, call or email us and we will arrange the consultation directly.
How to report a barrier
If any part of this website is difficult to use, or if you need information in a different format, please tell us. Email info@ishimbayev.com or call +1-212-220-6548 during business hours, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern. Please describe the page or the feature and, if you can, the browser or assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond within five business days and to fix confirmed barriers as quickly as we can.
